Every listing on PG Bazar goes through a rigorous 5-step verification before going live. Here's exactly how.

Unlike other platforms where anyone can list anything, every PG on PG Bazar is manually reviewed by our team. We verify documents, photos, contact details and physically confirm the property exists before approving any listing.

Owner Submits Listing

Property owner registers on PG Bazar and fills in all details — name, location, room types, pricing, amenities, real photos and contact info. The listing goes into "Pending" status and is not visible to seekers yet.

Our Team

Document & Address Check

Our team contacts the owner to verify ownership documents and property address. We cross-check the location on Google Maps and confirm it matches the stated area and locality.

Photo Verification

We review all uploaded photos to ensure they are actual photos of the property — not stock images, not photos from other listings. Owners may be asked to share fresh photos if needed.

Contact Verification

We call the owner on the provided number to confirm all details — price, availability, amenities and house rules. This ensures every listing has a real, reachable person behind it.

Verified Badge & Live

Once all checks pass, the listing gets a green ✅ Verified badge and goes live on PG Bazar. Seekers can now view full details and contact the owner directly — zero brokerage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does verification take?

Typically 24–48 hours after the owner submits the listing. During high volume periods it may take up to 72 hours.

Can a verified listing be removed?

Yes. If we receive complaints or find that a listing has become inaccurate, we will contact the owner and may remove or suspend the listing until it is updated.

What if a PG owner provides false information?

We permanently ban owners who provide false information and remove all their listings. We also flag their contact details to prevent re-registration.

Is verification free for owners?

Yes. Listing and verification is completely free for all property owners. PG Bazar never charges owners or seekers any fee.
